Information of Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Water Resource, and Waste Management
The Company recognizes that the global climate and environment are increasingly affected by greenhouse gas emissions, leading to global warming. In fulfilling its responsibilities as a global citizen and a corporate entity, the Company is committed to reducing environmental pollution and conserving natural resources through waste sorting, recycling, and energy- and carbon-reduction measures, as well as by adopting green building materials and water- and energy-efficient equipment. The Company also provides employees with energy-saving guidance and continuously promotes a collective awareness of energy conservation and carbon reduction. Through these efforts, the Company actively enhances its environmental performance and management of energy use, thereby implementing its policies and measures for sustainable development.

I. The Company’s primary sources of energy consumption are electricity, diesel used for emergency generators, and gasoline used for company vehicles. As the Company does not operate any manufacturing processes, there are no Scope 1 process-related emissions.

II. The Company places strong emphasis on water conservation and environmental protection by fully implementing daily water-saving practices. By centrally controlling office environmental temperatures to reduce the operating load of air-conditioning systems, the Company establishes a solid foundation for water conservation and maximizes the effective use of available water resources.

IV. Pursuant to Article 12 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Article 17, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph 1 of the Enforcement Rules, and Article 7, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 1 of the Regulations for the Implementation of Labor Working Environment Monitoring. For indoor workplaces in buildings equipped with centrally managed air-conditioning systems, carbon dioxide concentrations shall be monitored at least once every six months.

Pursuant to Article 2 of Standards of Permissible Exposure Limits at Job Site, the permissible concentration of carbon dioxide is 5,000 ppm. All measured carbon dioxide concentrations in 2024 were below 5,000 ppm and therefore complied with regulatory requirements.
