Shuttle has an excellent R&D team composed of expertise in professional software, hardware, machinery, and system integration, making up 30% of our workforce. Facing the trend of IoT, Big data, AI computing, and the stringent requirements of the global market, we continue to improve our R&D capabilities in OEM/ODM and increase the investment in research on medical technology, IoT, automation, and interactive technologies. Meanwhile, we actively work closely with system integrators, software developers, and value-added service providers to grasp market application trends. - 1. Implement Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) policy.
- 2. Formulate Green Product Management System (GPMS) to manage the compositions of materials from suppliers. Ensure to meet requirements referencing the RoHS 2011/65/EU and Directive (EU) 2015/863 to ban hazardous substances in the products.
- 3. Follow the EU Energy-related Products Directive (ErP) 2009/125/EC to lower the energy consumption.
- 4. Adopted EU REACH regulation that requires notifying suppliers of the presence of any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in products and providing instructions on the safe use of the products.
- 5. Conflict Minerals Policy:
According to the information on the supply chain of Shuttle company and our knowledge, Shuttle does not knowingly use conflict metals of gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and tin (Sn) from the conflict regions of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries.
